Peter Holík

Peter Holík has 28 years of experience in various communication disciplines. Currently he works as the Head of Marketing Communications at Slovenská sporiteľňa, the biggest bank in Slovakia, which is at the same time the biggest digital and mobile bank as well. He joined the bank in May 2014 and has since led several successful projects and initiatives in the areas of digital banking, social media communication, and branding. He is an expert in advertising, digital marketing, innovation, and customer experience. Some of his notable achievements include implementing the bank’s digital strategy, piloting its new website, launching the popular banking app George, and creating award-winning campaigns such as “My dear Slovaks” which used AI to recreate the voice of a famous Slovak actor. Before joining the bank, he worked as the Marketing Director at GINGERS, a digital agency, and as the Regional Account Director CEE at Young & Rubicam, a global advertising network where he had spent his first 15 years of professional carreer. He graduated from the Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava. Peter is a passionate manager fascinated by communication, technology and education.
