Juraj Plánovský

I have been working as strategy planner for Istropolitana Ogilvy Communication Group (Slovakia, Czechia) for last 17 years. 

As a graduated sociologist previously working in market research, I specialize in the psychological nuances of consumer behavior and the measurable impact of advertising on such behavior. Another subject of my strong interest is the social and cultural anchoring of brands, the role of brands in the wider context of human life and their subsequent contribution to effective marketing.  

I have contributed to many successful campaigns for our agency, 3 of which have won national gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze Effie. One of them achieved bronze in the Effie Awards Europe in 2021. 

In the last 12 years I have been part of several Effie juries, 1x Euro Effie 1st round, 4x national Effie 2nd round, 4x national Effie 1st round.
