Janko Hočevar is the founder and director of the research and strategic planning company Aragon and has 30 years of experience in strategic brand development, translating business strategies into brand strategies, and creating new business opportunities. After graduating in sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, he began his professional career in the research department of the advertising agency Studio Marketing. During this time, he cooperated with the largest Slovenian companies in insurance, public services, household appliances, consumer products and the like, and was appointed as director of the Marketing Center at the agency Studio Markweting/JWT.
The establishment of a new own company, Aragon, in 1999 opened up new perspectives and opportunities for the development and deepening of areas of interest. With a wide range of knowledge and experience, Aragon becomes a research company with high added value and a unique mission: to provide clients with the best possible insights to make the right and actionable business decisions.
In addition to managing the company Aragon, Janko is an invited lecturer at various higher education institutions (CISEF, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Tourism Studies, Portorož), professional meetings and conferences (Marketing Conference, Slovenian Advertising Festival, Effie) and author of articles for various professional publications.
