Jan Binar is the Managing Director of McCann Prague. He has served as the President of the Czech Association of Communication Agencies for 12 years and has been both President and Board Member of Edcom. Additionally, he is an external lecturer at the University of Economics in Prague, University of Creative Communication, and University of New York in Prague.
Jan is passionate about growth, people development and their advancement, client growth, business innovation, and scaling. Under his leadership, McCann Prague has been recognized for consistently delivering outstanding commercial results to clients. The agency has won the most Effie awards for five consecutive years and is one of the most creatively awarded agencies in the region, with prestigious Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lions at the Cannes Lions competition. McCann Prague is proud to hold the Agency of the Year title for the second consecutive year.
Jan has had the pleasure of helping to grow a diverse agency team and a mix of local, regional, and global brands, including Billa, Gambrinus, Kozel, L’Oréal, Nokian, MasterCard, Komerční banka, Jobs.cz, DPD, and Vodafone. He has been honored with the AdMan award and inducted into the Czech Advertising Hall of Fame for his lifetime achievements.
