The comms strategist behind Heineken’s most successful launch ever for Orchard Thieves Cider and the Cannes-winning Irish Defense Forces Female Recruitment Campaign, Emer’s strategy style is rooted in media and connections thinking. Prior to Droga5, she spent several years at Google honing her digital marketing skills to help luxury clients like Victoria Beckham and Agent Provocateur grow their brands online.
Since joining in 2014, Emer has played a pivotal role in establishing the first Communications Planning discipline at the agency, helping brands create more authentic interaction with their audiences. She is at her happiest being the interlock between many internal teams to facilitate insightful creativity that captivates at every touchpoint.
Recognized for her contributions to the industry, she served as a Media Juror at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as well as hosting frequent talks and workshops on creative thinking in the digital age at the festival over the years.
