Elias Betinakis, Chief Strategy Officer at GroupM Sweden, oversees Strategy, Analytics, and Insights. GroupM with Wavemaker, Mindshare and EssenceMediacom is the leading Brand and Marketing Investment group in Sweden, managing, optimizing, and analyzing one-sixth of all Swedish media spend. Elias focuses on helping GroupM clients and agencies become more customer-centric and utilize data more effectively.
Before joining GroupM, Elias had an extensive background in Insights and Planning. His previous roles include Head of Brand and Marketing Strategy and Insights at Telia Sweden, co-head of the planning department at NORD DDB, and head of market research at Klarna.
His effectiveness in awarded cases and brand journey projects includes work with Vattenfall and McDonald’s.
Elias has also served as a board member of Komm (the Swedish Association of Advertising Agencies) and APG Sweden.
