Jörn Ballentin
Strategy Director - Innocean Berlin
Berlin born, bred and proud, Jörn started his career as a planner at creative agency Jung von Matt Hamburg in 2008. After 2 years working on German beer, banking and energy accounts, he decided to pursue a more international path and moved to London, where he joined integrated agency VCCP in 2010.
He ran strategy on the repositioning of easyJet across Europe and picked up various international pieces of business such as the global account for Unilever Food Solutions as well as Sky for VCCP’s German office. After a 2-year stint at Karmarama, Jörn rejoined VCCP in 2014, combining passion and work by leading strategy on the global relaunch of BMW Motorrad as well as for Canon EMEA.
Since 2021, Jörn is a strategy director at Innocean Berlin working on the European Kia and Genesis account, as well as growing the agency portfolio with Prime Video, Spotify and men’s grooming icon Manscape. In the little spare time Jörn has left between work and his two kids, he likes to turn off his brain and build furniture and machines with his two hands.ds.
