Richie Taaffe is a senior marketer with almost 15 years’ experience working in the advertising/marketing industry. Richie joined Three, Ireland’s largest telecommunications company, in 2021 and has led the Marketing Communications team for the past year.

Prior to Three, Richie worked on the agency side and he has had a passion for effectiveness from the beginning. He began his career in his native Dublin before moving to Australia where he spent 10 years and held senior roles at TBWA Sydney whilst it was Australian Effie Agency of the Year, as well as Clemenger BBDO Melbourne whilst it was Global Cannes Lions Agency of the Year. He has worked with leading brands including Gatorade, Mastercard, Heineken, Fox Sports & ESPN.

Richie has worked on campaigns that have been recognised at numerous award shows around the world including Cannes Lions and D&AD, as well as the Effies in Ireland, Europe, Australia and Asia-Pacific.
